Before to do the assignment the professor showed to us some photos of different artists, and I found interesting the photos where the artist used plants. So, I took some flowers and leaves from my balcony. At Dawson, we went out to expose ours cyanotypes. At each 5 minutes I moved the flowers to see what sort of effect would result, but I saw that to see a better result I have to used an object thicker than the flowers that I used. I exposed my cyanotype 12 minutes, after I went inside to wash the cyanotype with water and peroxide to make the cyanotype blue. Ending all the process I putted my cyanotype to dry in a big old machine. I really enjoyed this project.
